Andrew Brunson Prayer Update

Much has happened regarding Andrew Brunson’s situation. Two quick updates and prayer requests:
  • We received word that the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ), which is representing the Brunson family in legal efforts, is delivering an oral intervention at the United Nations in New York on Andrew’s behalf today.
  • USA Today reported that the Turkish Prime Minister will consider speeding up Andrew’s trial. The reality of the situation is such that this may or may not be good news for Andrew. The article is here, and has been added to the EPC Andrew Brunson resource page.
Will you take a moment right now and pray for Andrew, specifically regarding these two developments? Pray for his wife, Norine, also as she ministers to Andrew through her weekly visits to the prison, and lives a roller coaster of emotions when new developments occur. Feel free to share this message and the Andrew Brunson page on the EPC website with your friends and neighbors. We all recognize the reality of Andrew’s situation, but continue to believe God for Andrew’s safe return to home and family in the United States.
Twilight Night: A Starry Preview of North Hills High School Musicals
February 2, 2018 | 7:00 p.m. | Memorial Park Church Sanctuary

High school musical cast soloists will present songs from their upcoming musicals and give an exciting sneak peek of their shows in the spring. The event is called “Twilight Night” because twilight is when stars first start appearing. Admission to the evening concert will be a give-what-you-can donation to North Hills Community Outreach, which provides food and financial help to those most in need in northern Allegheny County communities. “Last year over 600 musical lovers, friends, neighbors and teachers came out to see the young performers! There was a real sense of camaraderie in the air,” says Jim Lueers, Arts Director at Memorial Park Church. Sharon Wolf, executive director of North Hills Community Outreach added, “The students are incredibly talented. We can’t wait for another fun event this year!” Participating schools include Avonworth, Fox Chapel, Hampton, North Allegheny, Northgate, Pine Richland and Shaler school districts, along with Eden Christian Academy. All are invited to come enjoy watching the stars come out!
