Meet the team.

Here at Memorial Park Church we have a dedicated team here to serve in all areas of ministry, including Pastoral Care, Adult Discipleship, Family and Youth Ministries, Communications, Worship, Missions and More.

Pastors

Chris Eatough

lead Pastor

Christopher S. Eatough is the Lead Pastor at Memorial Park Church, serving since January 2022. Chris is a California native and joins us in Pittsburgh from Fair Oaks, California. He had served at Fair Oaks Presbyterian Church since 2009, which is where he met his wife, Allyssa, and raised his four children. His faith journey began in his early teens when he became increasingly involved in the church and grew in his faith through youth groups, feeling called to ministry after high school. He graduated from William Jessup University in 2008 and earned his Master of Divinity from Western Seminary in 2016. Chris has formerly served as the Assistant Pastor of Families and Groups at Fair Oaks Presbyterian Church. His other previous callings include ministry positions at Central Christian Church of the East Valley in Arizona and Adventure Christian Church in Roseville, California.

Eric Phillips

Executive Pastor

Eric Phillips joined Memorial Park Church as Executive Pastor in August 2025, bringing more than two decades of pastoral and ministry leadership experience. Originally from central Pennsylvania, Eric moved to Western PA to play football and study at Geneva College—where he also came to faith in Christ. During college, he met his wife Annette through the CCO’s Ocean City Beach Project. They’ve now been joyfully married for 28 years and are the proud parents of five children.
Eric holds a degree in student ministries from Geneva College and a Master of Divinity from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry at Covenant, focusing on church and organizational leadership. His dissertation explores the role of mentoring of church leaders in the ministry of executive pastors.
Throughout his ministry career, Eric has served in a variety of roles including Global Mission Coordinator in St. Louis, Church Planting Pastor in Las Vegas, Men’s Ministry Coordinator at Grove City College, and as a Lead Pastor in Aliquippa, PA. Prior to entering full-time ministry, he worked with the Maryland Department of Juvenile Justice.
Eric is passionate about helping the local church thrive through leadership development, gospel-centered life-on-life discipleship, and championing a strategic vision. He loves the Pittsburgh Steelers, fishing, and a good movie.

Paul Housman

Pastor of Missions & outreach

I am overwhelmed at God’s goodness to send me here to serve at Memorial Park Church. I started here as an Interim Minister of Worship and the Arts, subbing for, and assisting, my good friend Jim Lueers. During that time I felt the Spirit moving toward me staying and I am amazed at the affirmations and confirmations from many people here of God’s leading toward this position.  Now as the Pastor of Missions and Outreach I not only get to interact with all of the wonderful Missionaries we help support here at MPC, but also facilitate and go on life changing Mission Trips with the Church! Thank you, Lord, and thank you!

Esmé Teel

Pastor of congregational care

Esmé is the Pastor of Congregational Care, serving at MPC since February 2023. She oversees the care ministries of the church. This includes our prayer ministries and oversight of the online ministries.
Esmé came to us from Signal Mountain, Tennessee where she had finished a pastoral residency after serving many years in various roles in care ministries, missions, and leadership. She did this in conjunction with raising her two now adult boys and serving in the community in support of those considered “at risk” and/or the impoverished.
Prior to living in the south, Esmé lived and worked in the Northeast and has direct care and leadership experience in both inpatient and outpatient treatment programs for people dealing with mental illness and other mental health challenges.
Her faith journey includes experiencing many different religions, primarily having been Catholic prior to finding her way to a Presbyterian church. There, her relationship with Jesus grew deep roots and eventually God revealed to her how he had been shaping her all along for ministry. He called her to go to seminary; about halfway through earning her masters degree from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary, God further revealed her more specific call to pastoral ministry. In addition to her masters degree she received her post graduate certificate in pastoral care and counseling from GCTS as well.
Esmé and her husband Barry feel so blessed to now live in Pittsburgh with their two dogs serving the Lord in all the places he calls them too, especially MPC. Esmé loves photography, playing the piano and both love to garden.
