Curriculum
Spiritual Goals:

• Learn monthly Bible verse
• Learn daily snack prayer
• Share Bible stories and projects from class with families in their own words
• Learn to fold their hands, bow their heads, and say Amen during prayer time
• Learn that God loves us and, as our Father in Heaven, He gives us everything

Social Goals:

• Enter school through the carpool line to strengthen independence
• Practice sharing and taking turns during free play and other activities
• Learn to interact with classmates in a positive way
• Grow in independence by washing hands, taking charge of toileting, using manners, cleaning up after snack and playtime
• Learn to verbalize to teachers and peers

Academic Goals:

• Identify their names in isolation and in a mixture of classmates’ names
• Begin to identify shapes and colors
• Further develop fine motor skills through use of scissors, glue, paint, crayons, and playdough

• Learn to follow multi-step directions to complete tasks independently

• Count, recognize, and write numbers to at least 20
• Cut straight and curved lines with scissors
• Follow multi-step directions to complete tasks independently
• Learn 1-2 new sight words each week and be able to read them in the classroom and books
• Memorize their phone number, address, and the Lord’s Prayer
