Summer Surge

Summer Surge

Summer Surge, Memorial Park Church's alternative to Summer Vacation Bible School, explodes onto the Memorial Park property each summer with camp options for kids ages 4 through grade 5. Our week-long camps are open to the community—all children are welcome and you do not have to be a member of Memorial Park to register! We have half-day camp options for children ages 4-Kindergarten, as well as full day camp options for children in grades 1-5. Our Junior and Day Camps are both held on the Memorial Park Campus. See tabs for more information about each camp offering!

Our desire is for Summer Surge to be accessible to everyone. If cost hinders your ability to register, please inquire about our scholarship funds by emailing us today.

Thank you for a great year of camp!
Stay tuned for 2025 dates.
($35) Our half-day Junior Camp is designed for children who will be 4 years old by the start of their camp week, through children who will complete kindergarten in the current school year. The mission of Summer Surge Junior Camp is to encourage physical, social and spiritual growth in preschool age children. God's Word is presented in fun and imaginative ways as campers enjoy engaging music, hands-on activities, crafts you'll keep for years, active games, themed snacks and interactive Bible stories all revolving around a common theme.
($110) Our Day Camp is for children who will complete grades 1-5 in the current school year. Our goal is to present the gospel of Jesus Christ to campers, encouraging each person to make a personal commitment to Him. We promote spiritual growth through daily Bible study and the memorization of key scripture passages; assist each camper in the development of Christian character through competitions and initiatives, and help him or her develop skill in two areas of interest through the afternoon electives. We encourage campers to build friendships with other campers and counselors who model the love of Christ. An “I’m Third” attitude is stressed through our camp motto: God first, others second, I’m third.
